Give it a name and a radius. Home, school, a grandparent's house.

  2. Departures

    Someone leaves.

Crossing the edge of the ring is a departure, and it lands in Activity.

  3. Arrivals

    You hear about it.

Arrivals and departures reach your phone as a notification.

  4. History

    Replay the day.

Pick any of the last 30 days and watch the route play back.

Circles

One of you, in two Circles.

  • Each Circle sees only its own Members.
  • Join with an Invite code. It works for 7 days.
  • An Owner can approve each new Member by hand.
  • Under 13 needs an adult Owner's approval for every Circle.

30days

History

Replay any day.

Nothing from before you joined. Everything older than 30 days is deleted automatically.

Your controls

You decide when you show up.

  • Pause

Stop sharing with one Circle or all of them. Others see Paused, not an old location.

  • Update frequency

Choose how often your own phone reports.

  • Battery saving

Below 20%, or after sitting still for a while, the phone checks in less often.

  • One phone at a time

Sign in on a second phone and it takes over. The earlier one turns view-only.

Privacy

Your location is not for sale.

  • No phone number.A name, an email address and a password.
  • Take it with you.Download your data as one file, or delete everything and get a receipt.
  • A way back in.20 single-use recovery codes. Repeated wrong passwords are slowed down.
  1. 1

    Your phone reports

Only to your Circles, only while sharing is on.

  2. 2

    The server checks Places

That is how an arrival is spotted.

  3. 3

    Your trail is encrypted

Stored under a key of your own.

  4. 4

    Gone after 30 days

    Deleted automatically.

What this does not mean

It is not end-to-end encryption. The server reads your live position, because spotting an arrival needs it. The encryption protects stored history.

The app takes a person's age choice at its word and does not check it.

Compare

Next to the apps you already know.

Only what each company says on its own pages. Where family180 is behind, the table says so.

Checked on 31 October 2026 on each company's own pages; they may have changed since. "Not checked" means we did not find it there, so we say so instead of guessing.

The table scrolls sideways: swipe it to see all four apps.

Questions

Which phones does it run on?

Android only for now. There is no iPhone version yet.

Can I install it today?

Not from a public Google Play listing. A small group is testing it in a closed test.

Does it cost anything?

There are no paid plans and no payment system. Every feature is there for every Member.

Will someone see me without my knowing?

Does it have SOS or crash detection?

Not yet. Both are planned, along with driving reports and Circle chat. None is in the app today.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings and choose Delete everything. History is also removed after 30 days.
